BANANA FLOUR

Description

Banana flour is made by dryingthin banana slices and grinding them until the optimal degree of fine texture is reached. The taste varies according to the ripeness of the banana, from a neutral flavor to a sweeter one. It can be used in a wide variety of dishes and easily replaces wheat flour in gluten-free diets. CAES Piura banana flour is made from high-quality bananas. It is sold in 1 kg and 1/2 kg bags.

Production

The banana is cut into a very thin slices and then dried by the cooperative solar dryers. Once dried, the leaves are crushed until get the thinnest powder possible. Our flour is produced with biological bananas from the Sierra of Piura, in the Montero district (Ayabaca).
